Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.12%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.12%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p), which rose 2.17% or 300.00 points to trade at 14,120.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) added 0.95% or 160.00 points to end at 16,920.00 and Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) was up 0.48% or 180.00 points to 37,980.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which fell 2.24% or 280.00 points to trade at 12,220.00 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) declined 1.15% or 110.00 points to end at 9,490.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) was down 1.09% or 20.00 points to 1,810.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.61% or 1.96 to $318.24 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.93% or 204.00 to hit $10,781.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.82% or 50.13 to trade at $2,706.57 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.16% to 4,345.01, while BRL/COP fell 0.37% to 725.14.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 106.67.
