Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.04%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.04%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 2.92% or 340.00 points to trade at 12,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) added 1.73% or 200.00 points to end at 11,780.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) was up 1.65% or 30.00 points to 1,845.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB), which fell 2.76% or 300.00 points to trade at 10,560.00 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) declined 1.69% or 200.00 points to end at 11,600.00 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) was down 1.03% or 100.00 points to 9,600.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 1.73% or 200.00 to 11,780.00.

US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.56% or 1.80 to $325.65 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 3.40% or 359.00 to hit $10,929.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.29% or 35.01 to trade at $2,679.99 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.93% to 4,308.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.67% to 706.54.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 109.68.
