Tesla announces revamped Model Y version in China, priced from $35,938

SHANGHAI (Reuters) – Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) on Friday launched a revamped version of its Model Y car in China, its best selling yet aging model, with a starting price of 263,500 yuan ($35,938).

The revamped version includes a Model Y variant of with a longer driving range of 719 km (447 miles) per charge, according to a statement by the U.S. automaker on its Weibo (NASDAQ:WB) social media account.

($1 = 7.3321 Chinese yuan renminbi)
