Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.07%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.07%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which rose 1.72% or 200.00 points to trade at 11,800.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) added 1.03% or 360.00 points to end at 35,360.00 and Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) was up 0.56% or 25.00 points to 4,525.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which fell 5.97% or 740.00 points to trade at 11,660.00 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) declined 2.25% or 440.00 points to end at 19,100.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) was down 1.99% or 300.00 points to 14,800.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for March delivery was up 2.03% or 6.45 to $324.95 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.18% or 348.00 to hit $10,579.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.99% or 26.59 to trade at $2,717.39 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.35% to 4,345.25, while BRL/COP fell 0.79% to 711.72.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 109.47.
