Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.27%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.27%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200), which rose 9.94% or 5.40 points to trade at 59.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) added 8.44% or 1.64 points to end at 21.06 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) was up 6.34% or 9.00 points to 151.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005), which fell 3.49% or 5.80 points to trade at 160.40 at the close. Emaar The Economic City (TADAWUL:4220) declined 3.06% or 0.58 points to end at 18.38 and Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (TADAWUL:2083) was down 2.93% or 1.60 points to 53.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 157 to 147 and 32 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) rose to all time highs; up 9.94% or 5.40 to 59.70. Shares in Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) rose to all time highs; rising 6.34% or 9.00 to 151.00.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.13% or 0.83 to $73.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.76% or 0.58 to hit $76.51 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 14.30 to trade at $2,654.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.52% to 3.87, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 108.80.
