Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP unchanged

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as in the sectors led shares .

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP unchanged 0.00%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p), which rose 2.53% or 380.00 points to trade at 15,380.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) added 2.16% or 380.00 points to end at 17,960.00 and Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) was up 1.40% or 50.00 points to 3,620.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB), which fell 2.77% or 300.00 points to trade at 10,520.00 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) declined 1.65% or 440.00 points to end at 26,240.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) was down 1.48% or 25.00 points to 1,660.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.28% or 0.92 to $328.60 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.79% or 93.00 to hit $11,839.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $2,633.50 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.89% to 4,412.81, while BRL/COP fell 6.96% to 657.21.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 108.00.
