Sweden stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 up 0.20%

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.20%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ABB Ltd (ST:ABB), which rose 1.37% or 8.40 points to trade at 619.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) added 1.29% or 1.80 points to end at 141.70 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) was up 1.28% or 2.00 points to 154.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which fell 9.14% or 0.39 points to trade at 3.86 at the close. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) declined 2.36% or 23.00 points to end at 952.00 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was down 1.25% or 3.80 points to 300.20.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 388 to 346 and 91 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.03% or 0.02 to $68.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.52% or 0.38 to hit $72.40 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 18.79 to trade at $2,683.59 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.00% to 11.52, while USD/SEK unchanged 0.03% to 10.92.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 106.02.
