Greece stocks higher at close of trade; Athens General Composite up 0.18%

Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Construction, Travel and Technology sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite gained 0.18%.

The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr), which rose 6.02% or 0.16 points to trade at 2.73 at the close. Meanwhile, Thrace Plastic (AT:THRr) added 5.26% or 0.20 points to end at 4.00 and Alpha Bank SA (AT:ACBr) was up 2.86% or 0.05 points to 1.62 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Intralot (AT:INLr), which fell 2.60% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.94 at the close. Cenergy Holdings SA (AT:CENEr) declined 1.70% or 0.15 points to end at 8.68 and Centric Hold (AT:DESr) was down 1.47% or 0.01 points to 0.34.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 63 to 56 and 21 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.47% or 12.35 to $2,605.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.10% or 0.07 to hit $68.11 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.14% or 0.10 to trade at $71.93 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.41% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.41% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 105.91.
