Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.23%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.23% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which rose 5.23% or 730.00 points to trade at 14,680.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 3.86% or 1,090.00 points to end at 29,330.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 3.47% or 540.00 points to 16,080.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT), which fell 5.91% or 358.00 points to trade at 5,699.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 4.62% or 61.00 points to end at 1,259.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was down 4.34% or 302.00 points to 6,650.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 240 to 207 and 92 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.63% or 0.45 to $72.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.37% or 0.28 to hit $75.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.43% or 66.90 to trade at $2,682.80 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.14% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS fell 1.94% to 4.02.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.60% at 104.98.
