Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.67%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Biomed and Communication sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.67%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which rose 2.03% or 49.00 points to trade at 2,459.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) added 2.01% or 36.00 points to end at 1,823.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 1.95% or 19.00 points to 992.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which fell 5.22% or 3,870.00 points to trade at 70,200.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 3.20% or 520.00 points to end at 15,710.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) was down 3.02% or 920.00 points to 29,590.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 254 to 215 and 71 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.18% or 0.81 to $69.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.04% or 0.75 to hit $72.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.90% or 53.20 to trade at $2,747.60 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.89% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS rose 0.85% to 4.06.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 104.04.
