Biden administration selects New York for semiconductor R&D facility

(Reuters) – The Biden administration on Thursday announced that it would invest about $825 million in a new semiconductor research and development (R&D) facility in Albany, New York.

The New York facility will be expected to drive innovation in EUV technology, the U.S. Department of Commerce and Natcast, operator of the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NTSC), said in a statement.
