NEW YORK (Reuters) – Building materials provider Quikrete is in early-stage talks to acquire rival Summit Materials (NYSE:SUM), people familiar with the matter said on Thursday.
Quikrete and Summit Materials did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Bloomberg reported on the talks earlier on Thursday.
