Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.83%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Insurance, Energy & Utilities and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.83%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240), which rose 9.83% or 1.04 points to trade at 11.62 at the close. Meanwhile, Herfy Food Services Co (TADAWUL:6002) added 9.82% or 2.50 points to end at 27.95 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) was up 8.33% or 0.03 points to 0.39 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were United Wire Factories Company (TADAWUL:1301), which fell 5.13% or 1.55 points to trade at 28.65 at the close. Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170) declined 4.67% or 0.05 points to end at 1.02 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) was down 4.64% or 3.00 points to 61.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 200 to 92 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) rose to 5-year highs; up 8.33% or 0.03 to 0.39.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.45% or 0.33 to $73.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.47% or 0.36 to hit $76.82 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.90 to trade at $2,637.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.11, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 102.46.
